In these examples, a lead synth melody and/or bass melody are morphed in real time against a (mostly) static background mix. The Swift-based app extracts the note content of MIDI clips in Ableton Live, generates variations, and sends the notes back to Live. Max/MSP and OSC (Open Sound Control) provide the communication between Live and the Swift app.
